October 04: UN Youth Delegates coordination meeting, New York
October 05, 8:30 a.m.: UN Youth Delegates Working Breakfast with the UN Program on Youth
October 05 and 06: Youth Delegates deliver their speeches in the Third Committee for Social, Cultural and Humanitarian Affairs
October 07: Meeting with Ban Ki-Moon
October 08, 8.30 - 10.00 am:
Working Breakfast to the topic of Migration and UN Youth Policy hosted by the Swiss Permanent Mission at the UN
October 12, 12.30 – 2.00 pm: side-event that focus on the role of national youth councils, the need for youth rights and national youth policy and the link between the MDG and WPAY; the event will be co-hosted by European Youth Forum, United Nations Regional Information Centre in Brussels, European Commission Delegation in NYC, Permanent Mission of Portugal to the UN, Permanent Mission of Senegal to the UN, United Nations Programme on Youth, Partners of the International Coordination Meeting of Youth Organisations (ICMYO)
October 13, 1.15 – 2.45 pm: the Permanent Mission of Germany and the Youth Delegates to the 64th session of the UNGA will co-host a side-event to the topic “It's Getting Hot in Here - Youth Delegates Demand Climate Justice“ in the Auditorium of the Permanent Mission of Germany to the United Nations, German House (1st Avenue/49th Street)
October 16 to 18: "Stand up Day" to end hunger and poverty and for the Millennium Development Goals
October 24: Day of the United Nations

Priorities 2009

The defined priorities are based on agreements that were made during the preparation meeting in early July an through online discussions. The priorities will be published soon.
